SCRIP

What is SCRIP?

SCRIP is a term that means “substitute money.” When you purchase a SCRIP card, it’s the same as cash. There is no extra charge for purchasing these cards. The cost invested is equal to the card value. You can use these SCRIP cards to purchase everyday expenses such as clothing, food, gas, and other essentials. Participating merchants want to support non-profit organizations like our school, and in return we patronize their businesses using these SCRIP cards.

Benefits

You can support St. Andrew School and reduce your tuition costs by just shopping! Not only does the SCRIP program benefit the school, but it also benefits you. Each of the participating merchants has determined a percentage that is donated per card. Half of this percentage goes to the school, and half goes towards your tuition payment. Our SCRIP volunteers keep a record of the total amount each family accumulates throughout the year. If you have any additional questions about the SCRIP program, please contact the school office.
